In the first 5 episodes, Domon is shown asking around for a guy in a torn picture. Episode 6 shed some light as to the who and the why. You see, Domon came to earth for two things. One to win the Gundam Campaign to earn his father's freedom, and second to hunt down for this guy. This guy is Kyouji, Domon's older brother and fugitive, taking the dangerous and much coveted Devil Gundam to earth a year ago. First pursued by the militry, but he got away. In the skirmish, his mother got killed protecting him and his father sentenced to freeze in ice. In some sense, I think Domon doesn't believe the story told by Dr. Mikamura, which is why he agreed to hunt down Kyouji, to get the truth out of him. So when he got the undoubtable proof against Kyouji, he was really devastated. Like everything he hold dear crumbling before his eyes. Makes me almost pity the sucker. Back to Kyouji, he pilots the Devil Gundam which is quite a frightening sight to behold. I couldn't blame the others (Chibode, George and Sai) for getting scared spitless. Most of the time, you can see Kyouji perched in the Gundam's shoulder looking down his nose at everybody or laughing like the devil himself. Scary. He controls the Gundam with a casual nod that is so cool. Ok, no swooning. As for character, glimpse of big brother here shows he is soft-spoken and quite wise. Like any brother, flashbacks on him shows him teaching Domon some stuff. As for Rain, she's not entirely indifferent as well. In the Egypt episode, she showed how upset she is at the thought of an actual confrontation between the two brothers. Mistaking the Mummy Gundam for the Devil himself, she was reduced to tears, couldn't make herself watch, and was practically crying for Domon to stop thinking he is dismantling Kyouji. I guess she too is unwilling to believe that Kyouji capable of such a thing.
