(To Meet Again in the Rain ... Falling Rain)
We first see the view at night of a city. The rain is pouring steadily. The voice of Stalker-kun is heard from the background. He muses that the rain is said to be a blessing from the sky. It gets us wet. Sometimes with droplets, sometimes from much stronger rains. But this time it's different
Then we see Rain holding an umbrella by the sidewalk of a bridge next to an old man sitting in the rain with only a blanket over his head. A tank pass them by crossing the bridge. The man tells of their Gundam (Neo-Turkey's Gundam), Minaret who went out of control the other night and destroyed the city. The tanks are all over the city patrolling looking for their wanted gundam fighter. Domon walks around the ctiy noting the soldiers aound. Rain is standing by a tree holding an umbrella. Close by, she sees a man in pain on top of a buildings's steps. She ignores him at first but she looks back. The man falls and faints. Rain got a glimpse of his face and rushes over to him calling him Seitto. She let go of her umbrella which fell off the steps and lands at the foot of the stairs in front of Domon. Rain looks at Domon and calls to him for help.
In a hotel, Rain tells Domon that she and Seitto were at the Colony university together. She was in the Department of Medicine while he was at the Department of Mechanical Engineering. They met in the wrestling club were they were members. Domon just said is that so. Domon's outside the room where Seitto is, he was on his way out when he sees a Gundam start key fall off from Seitto's jacket draped by a chair. He made a move to go to Seitto's room but stopped and walk away. Inside the room, Rain was talking to Seitto. Rain said it was quite a long time since they last saw each other. She gives him a check up. She pulls up his left shirt sleeves and sees the DG cells on his arm. Then Rain remembers when she got back to Neo-Japan from the university, her father, Dr. Mikamura was informing them that Kyouji had taken the Devil Gundam. He showed them lab tapes of Kyouji and Dr. Kasshu's experiments. They injected the DG cells to a mouse who became quite violent and attacked other mice. Dr. Mikamura said that when the DG cells spreads to the brain, there is no cure, it can spread to others and the DG will take over the person. The Devil Gundam has three principles: Self-reproduction, Self-revival and Self-evolution. Then Seitto breaks into Rain's musings and said that it has been a long time indeed since they last saw each other. He made Rain promise not to tell anyone about his arm. Rain said since she's a doctor it will be confidential.
Domon's in a junk warehouse. Using the starter key he found, he located Minaret Gundam. Back in the hotel room, Rain is looking outside the window and is still thinking about what her father said about the DG cells that it can't be cured once it reaches the brain. Seitto tells her he doesn't want to trouble her. Rain said like the Rain, it brings a lot of things. They recall how they met. Seitto asked her before that is she really called Rain. Rain replied yes. Her parents named her that since the Rain is a blessing from the sky. Seitto said but she went back home to her colony when they were supposed to meet. Rain is silent. Seitto continues and asked if Domon is Rain's boyfriend or husband. Rain looks flustered and said that they were only partners. After awhile, Rain is looking at a medicine label and she has an injection on the other hand. Seitto, not himself, sneaks up behind her and tries to choke her. Back in the warehouse, Domon boards Minaret and is in the cockpit checking it out. He saw a photo of Seitto and Rain in the panels. It was when they were still int the Colony University. In the hotel, the medicine bag falls to the floor and bottles' break. Rain calls out to Seitto. Seitto releases her and falls to the floor with a pained look. He asked her what happened and to not leave him.
After awhile, Domon enters the room and sees Rain clearing up the broken medicine bottles from the floor. He asked her what happened. She tells him that nothing is wrong. Seitto is sleeping. Domon tells her that Seitto is a Gundam fighter and went over him and raised Seitto's left arm. He sees the DG cells and said I thought so. He said that Seitto's connected to the Devil Gundam. Rain insists that Seitto's sick and he can't tell Domon anything in his condition. Domon tells her that she told him that the Devil Gundam is in the gundam fight and this a gundam fight. He asked her if she's still his partner. Rain just said that as a doctor it is her obligation to look after her patients. Domon asked her if is she really doing this as a doctor.
Domon is outside in an open bar looking at a passing patrol tank. The waiter tells him he looks like he's avoiding a woman. Domon tells him whose avoiding anyone. Back in the hotel, Seitto is awake. He tells Rain that after she went back to Neo-Japan, he became a gundam fighter. He fought and trained for it. Then one day, a Gundam with frightening power appeared and he fought it. Afterward, he had no memory of the fight since he lost consciousness. From then on, he started loosing consciousness more and more even when he's piloting his gundam. Then one day, he destroyed his own city. In his fright he hid the gundam and when he opened his eyes he saw Rain again. Seitto asked her if this is his blessing from heaven. Rain doesn't respond but said she'll get the tranquilizer. Seitto said don't bother since he has to leave. Rain tries to stop him telling him that as a doctor she can't let anything happen to her patient. Seitto repeated what she said, "...as a doctor...". He tells Rain that he waited for her in their meeting place. He wanted to tell her that he was still undecide on becoming a gundam fighter or to remain as a student. He asked her if she was mad at him then. Rain tells him no vehemently. Then the door opens, Domon said that they're here, indicating that the police has found out where Seitto is. Seitto said that they'll arrest Domon and Rain if they become involved with him. He points a gun at the two of them. Domon told Seitto that there are no bullets in the gun and he held out his hand and let the bullets fall. Seitto tells him to take care of Rain. Rain calls out to him but he closed the door. Seitto goes to the roof and sees that the army has sorrounded the hotel. They see him and follows him. He goes to his gundam. As he enters the cockpit, he whispered that he hopes Rain will not forget him. Inside the cockpit, the DG in his gundam takes control of him and wraps him in sort of ropes.
Minaret Gundam wrecks the city again and debris fall on the people. Domon and Rain rushed off to where Minaret is. Domon said that there's nothing else left to do. Rain tells him he can't. Domon tells her to remember their purpose which is to destroy the Devil Gundam. He said he doesn't care who is infected. Rain looks stricken. Domon looks away and calls his gundam. In his gundam, Domon said that he doesn't know what happened to Seitto but he can't do anything for him since this is a gundam fight. Shining Gundam chops off Minaret's arm but it grew back. Minaret disarms Shining and pushes it off it's feet. Shining fell on its back. Minaret's buries its sword next to Shining's head. Then tries to chop off Shining's head but Shining tries to push it away and blocks it by it's hands. Then Rain climbs on top of Shining's chest close to Minaret's blade and pleads to Seitto to stop. Domon orders her to get out of the way. Rain insists that Seitto will calm down and become normal again when he hears her voice. Rain tells Seitto that it was still fresh from her memory. The falling rain is unexpected. On the day that they were supposed to meet, she got a call from her father telling her to come home immediately. He told her about what happened to Dr. Kasshu. Rain told her father that she can't go right now since she was meeting Seitto. Her father told her that Domon had come back to Neo-Japan. He told her to come home again immediately. Rain tells Seitto now that she had to go home since her father told her to and there weren't any time to tell him. Then Minaret draws back as Seitto becomes sane again. Domon again ordered Rain to get off Shining so he could finish this. Anything related to the Devil Gundam must be destroyed. Rain calls out to Seitto and screams no to Domon. Domon used the shining finger and grabs Minaret's head. Rain falls down on her knees and cries. Then suddenly Shining let Minaret go.
Seitto is in a hospital. Domon and Rain look up at his room's window from the walkway. Rain said that now that Neo-Turkey knows that he was sick, They won't arrest him. She tells Domon that now she's his partner again. He asked her if she wants to stay. She tells him that her doctor's duty is over. Domon's cheeks are a bit red and he walks away. Rain tells him thank you. Domon said he had to give out the information about the Devil Gundam to Neo-Turkey so they could absolve Seitto. Then they leave.
