The first scene we see is Stalker, the guy with an eyepatch acting as narrator cum ring announcer. He tells a concise history of the gundam fights. That it started to forestall any war and to determine which colony gets to rule over everything for four years. So, they send in their respective gundams and fighters. But this time, the fight is somewhat different. We then see domon asking if we've seen the guy on the photo he has. This episode we have Gundam Maxter of Neo-America against Shining Gundam of Neo-Japan.
There is a parade held as a welcome for Neo-America's gundam fighter, chibodee Crockett. Everybody's cheering his name and a sort of news reporter reporting the event is on a helicopter flying around an open stadium where Maxter is displayed with Chibodee. Meanwhile in a dilapidated bar. domon is watching a live telecast of the parade on t.v with the woman attending the bar and a small boy gushing over chibodee being the greatest. Domon asked the woman if she knew Chibodee. The woman said that when Chibodee, his dream was to go to the colonies. Domon thought to himself that his dream is to defeat chibodee. Then the boy asked domon if he's going to the boxing title match between Chibodee, Neo-America's boxing champ, and Konnomy, America's champ.
Now we see Chibodee Crockett talking to two guys in black suits. They tell Chibodee to be careful and to make sure he wins. They tell him that they should watch out for one particular fighter, the gundam fighter of Neo-Japan who defeated Neo-Italy's gundam fightr with just one hit. they learned that this particular fighter has gotten in the country. Chibodee arrogantly says he can beat anyone much to the irritation of the two guys.
The day of the match, Domon sneaks in the locker room of America's boxing champ and puts him to sleep with one punch in the gut. In the next scene, we see a hooded boxer silently waiting in the ring for Chibodee amidst cheers of the people watching. Chibodee enters the room on a small vehicle in the form of the head of gundam maxter with his four girls. When chibodee enters the ring, he still had his back to his opponent so he didn't quite see his opponent ran straight at him and gives a hard punch in the face. the crowd where outraged and silent for a few seconds and yelled that the hooded fighter didn't even waited for the bell. The hooded boxer unhoods himself and the two guys who were talking to Chibodee earlier on looked on in surprise at recognizing Domon Kasshu, Neo-Japan's gundam fighter. Domon then openly challenges Chibodee to a gundam fight. Chibodee, enraged charged on to Domon who just dodged his punches easily. Domon got distracted by the security guards rushing towards the ring that he got fazed in the ribs by Chibodee's punch. he then rans out of the ring. chibodee yelled at ?domon to come back since Domon humiliated him in front of his countrymen.
At Chibodee's hotel room, he's still seething at what happened and ordered Barney, the only girl in the room, to find domon and tell him the time and place of the match. The two black suited guys are also there. The blonde guy whose named is douglas tells Chibodee not to confront Domon and that they'll take care of domon their way since they didn't think chibodee can't beat Domon. Chibodee tells them to mind their own business. The two guys leave mad at chibodee, they encountered Barney in the elevator. Barney looked frightened as Douglas smiled at her menacingly.
In what looks like a park misted in the dark, Domon stumbles on to a bench while holding his ribs. Then three men in black and shades holding guns approach him. Domon looks weakly at them and in pain. then the three men were sorrounded by a spotlight from a vehicle. It's Rain, come to save Domon again and she's also wearing shades. Rain shoots the guns out of the three men's hand and asked them if they think the riffle she's holding is enough for them. The men ran away and Domon faints.
The next scene we see chibodee on the rooftop of his hotel sorrounded by lighted signs with three of his girls minus Barney, of course. He tells of his childhood as a street urchin stealing food and dodging the police and dreaming of going to the colony. He was still a little boy when Douglas discovered him fighting in street boxing and winning over guys so much larger and older than him. Because of this talent, they took him to the colony. He then says that it was wrong to go at that time to the colony since he didn't earn it. He thinks if he dreams of something he should have worked hard for it himself and not let others do it for him. He then wrecks the lighted signs while his girls looked on in adoration.
At the manhatan hotel, domon blearingly wakes up and asks himself where he is. Just then Rain came into the room and answered him and fuss over him. Domon acts like a sulky kid while Rain pops in pills at him. She then told Domon quite serioulsy for him to be careful in the city. Then there came a knock and the door slightly opens. It's Barney come to tell Domon the time and place of the match. She tells them the match is at Broadway at 8 and she then leaves. Domon and Rain just nod at each other. In the next we see Douglas calling the guy with him when he talked to Chibodee and telling him that the thugs they sent in to eliminate Domon failed but Barney was of some use to them.
The next day, Rain wakes up suddenly and sees that Domon has already left. She turns on the t.v to see the coverage of the match. The reporter says that it's already past the designated time and still no appearance from Domon Kasshu in Brooklyn Stadium where everyone's waiting. Rain rushes then to the stadium. At Broadway, it's still a bit misty and Domon on the core lander calls out to Chibodee. He sees Barney in front of a aort of helicopter telling him that he fell for their trap and the copter fired in missiles at Domon. At the stadium, Chibodee's getting impatient. Rain arrives shouting at Chibodee at being a cheat to give them the wrong place. Then they see and hear an explosion. Chibodee asks his girls how come there's an explosion at an abandoned section of the city. He then gets in his gundam and on a sort of hovering skateboard and goes to Broadway.
Meanwhile Domon is running and dodging the missiles aimed at him when Chibodee blocks the missiles with his gundam. he tells domon to get on his gundam and Domon calls in his gundam with a snap of his fingers. His gundam is camouflaged under a ruined replica of the statue of liberty. He flies the core lander and inserts it at the back of Shining and he suit up in celluloid. He and Chibodee destroyed the mobile suits attacking Domon. Douglas asks him why he's doing this. chibodee tells him this is his fight. He and domon face off. Maxter then puts on a sort of boxing gloves and tells Domon they'll settle this with their fist. They exchanged right hand punches with their gundam's right hand meeting. Domon then uses his shining finger which melts Maxter's right hand an grab's Maxter's head. Domon then asks Chibodee if he's seen the guy in the photo. Chibodee says no. Then Domon release Maxter's head. Chibodee then with his eyes closed says that his dream is lost since he lost the fight. Just then the citizen's of America converge on the fallen Maxter and shouts at Chibodee not to give up. Chibodee looks a bit confused. Domon tells Chibodee that the number 3 gundam fight clause is that you can still fight. He means here that since Domon didn't actually destroy maxter's head that means Chibodee can still fight.
